In both of two different hip positions, you'll spread the fabric wide to create a comfortable and secure seat while giving your child more upper body range of motion.
No matter which position you choose, your baby's mouth and nose are always kept visible and clear of fabric. When adjusting the carrier around young babies, you should be able to fit two fingers between your baby's chin and chest for safety. If your baby doesn't yet have complete head control, simply use one of the loops to provide additional head support.
